When do I get my cash back?

Once you complete a survey, the amount appears on your home screen under "Cash back ready to claim." Tap Claim, confirm where to send it, and we pay by Venmo or Zelle. Payouts are processed manually during the beta, so allow a couple of days.

My receipt wouldn't scan.

Photograph the itemized receipt flat, in good light, with all four corners visible. The payment slip alone won't work — we need the line items to build your questions. If it still fails, you can type the total and items in by hand.

Why was my survey flagged?

Automatic checks look at the date, the restaurant name, the total, and whether the same photo has been submitted before. A flag isn't an accusation — it means a human will look at it. Old receipts and unusual totals are the most common reasons.

Can the restaurant tell it was me?

Not from us. Restaurants see your answers, your receipt, and the server named on it — never your name, email, or payout details. Be aware that a card receipt can print your name, and that a very specific comment could identify you to a small venue.

Do I have to hide that I'm reviewing?

Yes. The point is an ordinary guest experience. Don't tell staff, don't identify yourself to management, and don't ask for special treatment. Then answer honestly.

I claimed a spot but couldn't go.

Nothing happens. There's no penalty for missing a reservation. Cancel from the restaurant page if you can, so someone else gets the seat.

How does the referral bonus work?

Share your link or code from the Me tab. When someone signs up with it, your next claimed discount doubles. The bonus applies once, to your next claim.

I forgot my password.

Tap "Forgot your password?" on the sign-in screen. We email a reset link to the address on your account. Check spam if it doesn't arrive within a few minutes.

What does it cost?

A flat fee per completed survey, plus reimbursing the cash back your guest earned. No subscription, no listing fee, and nothing charged for a claimed seat that never shows up.

How do I set which nights are on?

Deals tab. Tap any current or future date on the calendar to switch it on and set that night's cash-back rate and seat cap. Past dates are locked.

Can I change my discount after someone claims?

You can change it, but it won't affect anyone who already claimed. Their rate locks at the moment they reserve, so nobody's offer changes underneath them.

Can I ask my own questions?

Yes — Deals tab, under custom questions. Choose a 5-star or yes/no answer, and tick the server box if it should count toward that server's score. Diners can mark a question "not applicable" if they didn't experience it.

Where do server names come from?

The receipt. Any server named on a submitted receipt is added to your Staff roster automatically, and their scores build from there.

How do the benchmark comparisons work?

Your scores are compared against an average of other restaurants sharing your categories. If you set a brand name, you're compared against other locations of that brand instead. The figures are averaged across venues, so no individual competitor is identifiable.

I don't appear in distance sorting.

Your address hasn't been located yet. Profile tab — make sure your street address, city, and ZIP are filled in, then save. Locating happens automatically. You can also tap "Locate from my address" to retry.

Accounts and data

How do I delete my account?

Diners: Me → Delete my account. Restaurants: Profile → Delete this restaurant account. It happens immediately and can't be undone. Claim any outstanding cash back first, as it's forfeited on deletion.

What are the rules for diners?

The terms of service cover eligibility, how cash back is earned and paid, the secret-shopper conduct rules, and what happens if a receipt doesn't check out.

What do you do with my data?

Our privacy policy covers it in full, including exactly what a restaurant can and can't see.
